Floor scrubber dryer for hospitality and retail: battery or corded?

Mop and bucket cost time and leave floors wet. A scrubber dryer scrubs, cleans and vacuums in one pass, and the floor can be walked on straight away. The only question is: which size and which drive?

Floor area decides the machine

Up to 500 m² a day, a compact battery machine like the LastWerk HydroMax X1 with 10 l of fresh water and up to 1,350 m²/h is enough. For supermarkets, halls or gyms up to 2,000 m², take the X2 with a 55 l tank and 103 Ah battery (up to 3,000 m²/h). From 2,000 m², a ride-on scrubber dryer like the X5 with 5,900 m²/h saves the most time.

Battery or corded?

Battery means free movement between tables, shelves and customers, with no trip hazard. The X1 runs for around 60 minutes, the X2 manages several hours with 103 Ah. The corded X2C with an 8 m cable pays off when you clean for long stretches every day and sockets are within reach: no charging breaks, no battery wear.

Do I need a water connection?

No. All HydroMax machines have separate fresh and dirty water tanks. Fill fresh water at the tap, empty dirty water into the drain.

Brush discs, pads and squeegee blades are wear parts and available from our stock. Turn the squeegee blades every few months and they last twice as long.
